After the lectures, together with a few friends of mine, we went to the library to flip through old Vogue magazines in our library archives. They got every single British Vogue issue!
Anyway, an idea occurred in our heads that it would be amazing to pick out a fashion editorial from the issue of the year and month that we were born in and describe it like we did with the one we were given in groups. I had to choose May issue from 1999. There were not that many editorials back then, but I did manage to find one that I really liked (there was like two of them so I didn't have that big of a choice really).
The photos are very organic and 'real', very little to zero photoshop and editing. For some odd reason, I always liked the idea of playing basketball in a ball gown. It just looks so dreamy...
I had to choose between one that's very boring: natural beauty, minimalistic, something like 'romantic gal in the green fields'. Now tell me that's not boring. Nahhhhhh. This STREET SMART one is way more interesting in its colour palette, story and narrative.
What kind of words come to my mind when I look at this editorial?
And If I would have to choose 5 words to describe this editorial? REAL , ORGANIC , THEATRICAL , MOTION. UN-EDITED
All the love in the world,
Karolina x
