LONGCHAMP store in Soho, New York

My long-lived dream finally came true - I WENT TO NEW YORK!
Words can't explain how happy and grateful I am that at the age of 19 I crossed the NYC from my bucket list. I did post loads of pictures on my Instagram stories and posts, so if you want to see what I've been up to this past week, take a look HERE . So it's only fitting that my upcoming posts will be all about New York, retail stores and museums.

On our last day of the trip, we went to Soho and visited loads and I mean LOOOOOADS of designer stores and Longchamp immediately caught my attention from across the street. I used Longchamp's new Spring/Summer 2019 collection as one of the references for my summative project so of course, I had to go in and take a look.

Thomas Heatherwick did an amazing job as designing the stores interior. These stairs look absolutely gorgeous and they immediately catch one's eye without even going into the store. With that kind of design, there's no need to have stunning window displays because they would only cover up the fabulous rippling staircase. I was a tiny bit sad that I didn't find the newest collection in this store, because the majority of items on display are handbags and shoes. Manhattan has 7 stores, Brooklyn has 2 and all together, New York has even 15 Longchamp stores.

all pictures are mine

All the love in the world,
Karolina x
