This week 21st Jan - 24th Jan we have the presence of Haute-Couture Fashion Week in Paris and who does Couture better than Christian Dior?

Maria Grazia Chiuri presented her Dior Couture collection yesterday (21st Jan) and it was absolutely beautiful in every way. The atmosphere, colour palette and everything else reminded me of the Ready-To-Wear SS19 show, but her metaphors of a circus really shook everyone that had a chance to attend the show or see it online.

Just like the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, it's very royal-esque to me. There's a perfect balance between colours and a safe bet of B&W, textures and layers. Some pieces have very strong shapes and cuts, while others have flowy, dreamy silhouettes. 

All in all, I think that Maria Grazia Chiuri has been doing an amazing job since 2016 at maintaining the elegance and secrecy of Christian Dior style. It's just as glamorous, delicate and tasteful as it was in the 20th century.
