It's no secret that Dior has been my favourite brand for as long as I can remember. I even own a book called 'VOGUE on: Christian Dior' by Charlotte Sinclair and I've read it from front to back.
I am incredibly happy to see that Dior's aesthetic is still the same as it was in the 20th century : very feminine, elegant, angelic, even mysterious. The new J'adore the New Absolu film/advertisement is not an exception.
Every single woman in this short film looked fabulous, exotic, it seemed as though they are true goddesses. Charlize Theron was set to be the muse of Dior and I 100% agree on this. This female has magical facial features and her aura is full of mystery and gloriousness.
The main focus seems to be on the dress that Theron was wearing. Now, I'm not a fan of sequins and I find them tacky, tasteless sometimes, but Maria Grazia Chiuri designed the dress and made it look fantastic with sequins. The length, layers and the deep V-cut gave the element of alluringness.
There are three videos on Youtube including the actual 'film', the making of the dress and an interview with Miss Charlize Theron herself. So if you haven't seen it, I absolutely recommend it that you do! CLICK HERE FOR IT!
All the love in the world,
Karolina x
